 What is the target audience for my film?

The target audience for our film is definitely based on psychological thriller lovers which can range from ages 15 until 25 usually. As well as this I think it will be focused more on a female target market mainly because our main character is a female. However in general the thriller genre is usually suitable for every audience that enjoys being spooked. Because our film contains conventions of a teenage girl such as: fairy lights, pink bedroom, and follows a 16 year olds daily life, which then turns into a twist i largely believe that this will intrigue teenagers especially females into watching A Void - this is because of the appealing marketing and stereotype that we have applied in our opening title sequence. 

In this chart we can see that usually the main target audience for psychological thriller is females aged 15 - 30 and due to our stereotypical conventions this suggests that our film will be most definitely targeted towards this audience. However as it is a very broad genre of film we can also visualize that by age 30 - 50 more males start to watch psychological thriller therefore it will most likely be a mix of both genders reaching more from the age category of 20 to 40 years old.
